MEMBERSHIP
We love welcoming new members into the club! Joining a flying club is a great way to make new friends and provides an affordable way to fly while giving you an owner like experience with the plane. Read on to learn more about what to expect as a club member.
Costs
Initial buy in; A one time purchase of your club share. Chewelah Flyers offers a very low initial buy in cost. We currently have memberships available for $2500. Your membership gives you an equal share in Club aircraft and all Club assets. Compare us with other flight clubs and save.
Memberships purchased from club members are private transactions that do not involve the club. However, all prospective members must be voted on and approved by the club prior to acceptance into the flying club.
Monthly Dues
Monthly dues cover fixed costs for the operation of the flight club. Annual inspections, airport fees, utilities, insurance are covered by the monthly dues assessment.
Currently Monthly dues are $135.
Hourly Fees
Hourly fees cover the direct costs of aircraft operation and maintenance. Rates include fuel, provided locally at Sand Canyon Airport or members are reimbursed for fuel purchases away from home. Hourly fees are calculated from Tach Time.
Current hourly fees are;
